Your class has been invited to take part in a social-media project called Poetry in Motion, designed to show that poetry is not frozen on the page, but alive when it is shared, heard, and seen! Your mission is to explore how poems can create connection and meaning for online audiences today.

Turn a poem into an Insta performance.
Choose a poem (classic or contemporary) and transform it into a performance designed for social media. Decide how to bring the poem to life through voice, rhythm, and staging, while staying faithful to its meaning. You will perform and record your piece as if it were posted on the Poetry in Motion platform.

• Engage your audience: Imagine who will see it online and what feeling you want to create.

• Think visually: Consider staging, props, or background sounds to enhance the message without distracting from it.


• Record and review: Watch your performance, adjust pacing and clarity if needed.

➤ Préparez votre interprétation

• Explorez plusieurs poèmes pour choisir celui qui vous touche vraiment. Relisez-le plusieurs fois pour bien le comprendre.
• Renseignez-vous sur l'auteur et le contexte historique ou littéraire.
• Justifiez votre choix : notez pourquoi ce poème est important pour vous et ce qu'il signifie aujourd'hui.
• Repérez le rythme et la ponctuation : notez les rimes, répétitions et pauses pour guider la lecture.
• Travaillez la prononciation : cherchez la prononciation des mots difficiles et soulignez les mots importants à accentuer.

• Variez l'intonation : adaptez votre voix à l'émotion et au rythme du poème.
• Jouez sur le rythme et les pauses : respectez la ponctuation et utilisez les silences pour donner du relief.

• Lisez à voix haute plusieurs fois pour tester rythme, fluidité et intonation.
