The Belfast Street Art Festival, called “Hit the North”, has been taking place since 2013. It now runs every year over the bank holiday weekend in early May with artists painting murals, workshops, street art tours, and a block party. The festival has helped transform the look of the city, with hundreds of murals painted by artists from Belfast and around the world since it began.
