Mission 1

Make + Base verb

Make causative sentences.
Example: this young vandal / become aware of the legal risks he takes → The policeman made this young vandal become aware of the legal risks he takes.

1.  The policeman... (stencil artist / feel guilty).
2.  The policeman… (us / realise our neighbour's wall was not the right place for our graffiti).
3.  The policeman… (this female writer / think about her responsibility as an artist).
Subject 1 + make + subject 2 + BV 2
Subject 2: noun (TAKI 183, the policeman…) or object pronouns (me, you, him/her/it, us, them)

Past actions

Conjugate the verbs.

1.  When he
(start) his tag, Taki 183
(know / not) that graffiti would become such an important movement.

2.  After a one-hour chase, the police
(catch / not) the vandals.

3.  In the 80's and 90's, writers
(invent) a lot of styles.

4.  Ten years ago, the media

Regular verbs: - d or - ed ending
Beware of irregular verbs!
Negative sentences (for all verbs): subject + DID + not + BV

Subordinate clauses

Make all the necessary changes to write proper sentences with subordinate clauses.

Mission 2


Transform the sentences into direct speech.

Example: We told her to stop tagging the school walls. → We said: “Stop tagging the school walls!”

1.  They wanted me to follow them.
2.  He asked us to give him back his spraycans.
BV at the beginning of a sentence, no subject!


Possessive pronouns

Complete with the correct pronoun.
