Propositions Right or wrong?
Nelson's Column, at the center of Trafalgar Square, is surrounded by fountains.

Les phrases exclamatives

Listen: What an impressive tower! How great!

Réfléchis : Les phrases ci-dessus sont des phrases
. Leur intonation est-elle montante ou descendante ?

Répète : How big! What an amazing day!


Le passé

Observe : The Tower of London was a castle. There were prisoners. Many people visited it. Many kings lived there.

Réfléchis : Concentre-toi sur les verbes. Que remarques-tu pour l'auxiliaire BE ?

Que constates-tu pour les deux autres verbes ?

Tous ces verbes renvoient-ils à des actions présentes, passées ou futures ?

Conclus : Pour parler au
en anglais, on ajoute
à la fin des verbes. Attention, l'auxiliaire
est irrégulier !
